About

Join Elon Volunteers! for a service project with Habitat for Humanity as part of CREDE's MLK month activities!  Volunteers will contribute with hands-on work at this year's Elon University-sponsored Habitat for Humanity house in Burlington. The shift will last from 8:00am-11:30am on January 20th, 21st,and 22nd and transportation will be provided. We will meet on campus at 7:30am to travel to the build shift and will be back to campus by noon.

Volunteers learn the value of teamwork, leadership, and hard work while also getting to learn new skills in home construction. Some examples of build-site tasks include putting up walls, painting, roofing, and more! No building/construction experience is necessary. Just come ready to make a difference and have some fun! Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toed shoes.

Once you sign-up, the Kernodle Center for Civic Life will be in touch with more logistical information.
