The Kernodle Center inspires, educates, and prepares students and campus to partner with diverse communities to address local and global challenges, and gain a deeper understanding of their responsibility to actively contribute to civic life. The center serves as the convener of community-based engaged and experiential student learning opportunities in collaboration with faculty, staff, and community partners to address the common good.

The Kernodle Center is able to potentially provide transportation support for students looking to volunteer in the local community who may not have access to their own transportation. Please note that we are not able to accommodate every request. Please submit the transportation request form above at least 3 weeks in advance of the potential service event. 

The Kernodle Center is able to potentially partner with student organizations who wish to set up a service opportunity for their organization with a local community partner and would like assistance getting connected. Please submit the group service request form above at least 4 weeks in advance of the potential service event.
