Welcome to Habitat for Humanity at Elon University! Our campus chapter works in affiliation with Habitat for Humanity of Alamance County to raise awareness of housing insecurity and work towards providing affordable housing in Alamance County. Together, we strive to achieve Habitat for Humanity International's vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live. And mission: Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Habitat for Humanity is an international non-profit organization that immediately addresses and combats the lack of affordable housing all over the world. While being a global Christian ministry organization, Habitat values non-discriminatory practice and acceptance regardless of one's religious faith; people of all faiths and no faith participate as volunteers, donors and partner families. Habitat and our chapter do not proselytize individuals or groups and welcome everyone to join us in our work to provide affordable housing.
