Don’t Trash It! is Elon University’s end-of-year move-out program that encourages students, faculty and staff to donate items at various donation stations throughout campus.
Please choose a two-hour shift any time between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm; a Don't Trash It! Coordinator will reach out with additional information for your shift.
Volunteers are needed to help collect items or monitor trucks. Volunteers will work with a student Don't Trash It! Coordinator at the beginning of their shift to be trained on how to properly sort donation items. Volunteers should wear close-toed shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes.
Volunteers receive a free t-shirt and reusable water bottle (while supplies last).

- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
