About

We love our furry friends, but how can we be more sustainable with them? This event will offer advice to Elon students on how they can implement greener practices with their pets and reduce their impact on the environment.

A table will be set up on the Daniel Commons patio. Eco Rep will sign up to take a dog out for the day from the local shelter (Burlington Animal Services), and the dog will accompany Eco Rep and volunteers at the table to draw in  attendance. As people come to meet the dog, Eco Rep will ask them what kind of pets they have at home, or what  kind of pet they would like to have, and offer tips on sustainable care for that pet, as well as refer them to a QR link to an infographic about that pet.

Volunteers will be standing at table and helping Eco Rep hold the dog's leash, so they can move and interact with people.
